Graser Felsenkellerbier

Kellerbier by Graser

Ever since Carl von Linde invented artificial refrigeration in the 1870s, breweries have cooled their beers in cold storage facilities or refrigerated tanks. In contrast, Graser’s *Felsenkellerbier* (rock-cellar beer) is still stored today—just as it was centuries ago—without the use of artificial cooling, resting instead in the historic rock cellars beneath the brewery. At a constant ambient temperature of 8 to 10°C, the beer matures steadily in these cool conditions, resulting in a remarkably well-balanced, refined flavor with distinct malty notes. Brewed in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516.
