“Half & Half” (called 'Black and Tan' in England) is a beer cocktail in which a pale beer (in this case: “Maisel & Friends India Ale”) and a dark beer (in this case: “Maisel & Friends Dry Stout”) are layered in a pint glass. 'Black and Tan’ probably originated in England in the seventeenth century when breweries started blending various types of beer.
