The 1747 Dunkles from the Zum Löwenbräu brewery is an old Franconian Kellerbier, a beer like dark, liquid bread. The taste is intense, ripe, stewed fruit. A tart spice and a floral-scented fruit sweetness, with a light roasted malt bitterness on the aftertaste.
